Its about the journey, not the destination
I’m positive that you’ve heard that phrase a million times. You might even believe that its about the journey instead of the destination. You’re dead wrong.
Taking the mojo, the heart, the oomph out of what it is to be successful is another excuse in disguise. People often say this line above to make themselves feel better. If you’re not getting results from the action you’re taking everyday than you’re doing something wrong. You could be doing a bunch of things wrong such as:
- Not taking enough action with persistence to achieve your goals.
- Investing in others instead of yourself.
- Looking at success as a choice rather than your obligation.
- Not having or fully realizing your why
Success is your Duty & Obligation
Stop treating success like its an option. Don’t treat success like its something that naturally happens, and that’ll get it eventually if you keep working 9-5. You might be able to make it into lower middle class working 9-5, but that’s not success. The middle class which I’ll be hammering later in this blog is like the “rich poor people”.
Treat success like it is your duty & obligation. You need success – for your family, friends, children and for yourself. Success is the driving force of the world. If the whole world just worked 9-5 did everything average than we wouldn’t thrive. We need innovators, entrepreneurs, and people taking massive action.
Make the full commitment to make success your obligation today. If you have under $10,000 in the bank than invest it in yourself. Invest your money & your time in you. If you’re working at a 9-5 than quit. One of my biggest regrets is not starting on the road to success earlier. I could have been in the top 2% of the people in the world so much quicker if I had just quit my job.
You either work to make your dreams a reality or you are used to make someone else’s dreams a reality. It really is your choice.
